Our one bedroom, one bath condos are comfortable and well-appointed. They're located in the Hawaiian King, a vintage condo-hotel in the heart of Waikiki, just two blocks from the beach.

Built in the days when Waikiki was a sleepy, low-rise beach town, the Hawaiian King is a secure building surrounding a lovely landscaped pool and garden area. You’ll find lounges, a barbecue, patio tables and chairs — and an atmosphere of aloha that can’t be found in Waikiki’s crowded, high-rise accommodations.

Both are second floor condos: Unit 201 has a queen bed and a comfortable, innerspring double bed futon in the living room. Unit 211 has two twin beds (which can easily be pushed together) plus the same style futon. Living and bedroom are separted by sliding louvered doors -- and both can access the bathroom without passing throug the other room. Kitchens feature refrigerator, stove, microwave, rice cooker, toaster, coffeemaker, plus all the pots, pans, utensils and tableware you’ll need. Also included are linens, towels, hairdryer, and an iron. A coin-op washer and dryer are available in the laundry room, adjacent to the pool area.

The units also feature flatscreen TVs, CD/DVD players, free WiFi, and a telephone for local calls.

Near the front entry you’ll find a small convenience store and tavern. The International Marketplace is half a block away, and the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, Kapiolani Park, and world-class shops and restaurants are all within easy walking distance. If you'd like to venture further, "TheBus" stops just around the corner, or you can rent a car from the Enterprise office across the street.
